From 1 January 2014 the individual Chambers of Commerce will cease to exist. Currently all 12 provinces are a region for the Chamber of Commerce. This will be reduced to 5 regions. Each region will have offices where you can go to. Some offices will be closed.
You can go to the following offices:
Region North: Leeuwarden, Groningen, Emmen
Region North West: Alkmaar, Amsterdam, Almere, Utrecht, Amersfoort
Region East: Zwolle, Enschede, Apeldoorn, Arnhem
Region South West: Den Haag, Rotterdam, Middelburg
Region South: Den Bosch, Breda, Eindhoven, Roermond.
From 1 December 2013 the following offices are closed:
Region North West: Haarlem, Hoofddorp, Purmerend
Region South: Venlo, Boxmeer, Tilburg, Sittard/Geleen
Region East: Tiel, Doetinchem, Nijmegen
Region South West: Delft, Den Haag (Vaillantlaan), Leiden, Terneuzen
Any post for the trade register can be sent to one of the offices. Mention "T.a.v. het Handelsregister” on the envelop.
Almost all changes in the trade register can be sent by post, but for a new registration of a company or contact person/director you still have to go to the Chamber of Commerce. This can be done through the online appointment scheduler. You can still go to the Chamber of Commerce without appointment but then you may have to wait longer and some offices only work on appointment.

From 1 January 2014 the costs of extracts from the trade register will change.
Company profile: € 2.65 - € 9.50

View original year end accounts: € 3.05
Digitally signed original year end accounts in your email: € 7.50
From 2014 a one time registration fee of € 50 will be applicable when you register a new company in the trade register. An annual fee is not applicable, just like in 2013. A one time fee of € 50 is also charged when a company is taken over, split or merged or when a dormant company is continued.
As of 1 January 2014 it is no longer possible to send year end accounts to the Chamber of Commerce by email. Year end accounts can only be filed through the website of the Chamber of Commerce or through professional software using the new standard format SBR. Year end accounts can also still be filed by post. A transfer period is applicable until all online services are accessible for every company.
