Which criterias do non EU-nationals have to fullfil in order to get a work permit or to open their own business?

You can find more information on the website of the Dutch Immigration Service, the IND. They have a "residence wizard" on their website. By answering a couple of short questions the website will show you what the requirements are if you want to come to the Netherlands to stay, work or start a business and don't have the nationality of one of the EU member states.
