I was referred to the Expatax website through Expatica.com. I have found it to be a very useful website. In particular, I appreciate the link to the Taxation information published by the ministry of Finance.
I am currently considering a proposal to work for a small research foundation in The Netherlands. Their feeling and mine, is that the 30% rule will apply. Since compensation and taxation are handled quite differently in The Netherlands as compared to the United States having access to the Taxation guide put out by the ministry of Finance (and in English no less!) has been very useful in helping me to determine whether there is parity between the foundation's proposal and my current salary/compensation package here in the United States. I want to thank you for making such a helpful website. If I do choose to relocate to the Netherlands, I will more than likely turn to you for financial advice.
