Legalization of documents to incorporate company

Question:

Dear sirs,

I reside in Spain. According to your documents I should submit a legalized copy of my passport. What kind of legalization is required? Is legalization by a Spanish notary ok? If not, some kind of legalization at the Dutch consulate? What is requested?

Answer:

It will be sufficient if a Spanish notary certifies on the copy passport that the passport belongs to you and that it is a true copy of the original. It may be good to wait with the legalization until requested by us since more documents may have to be legalized, to prevent that you have to go to the Spanish notary twice. In the mean time a normal copy without legalization is sufficient to start the company formation.
