Can my partner also get the 30% ruling?

I work in Holland as a knowledge migrant and have the 30% ruling. My husband joined me as my partner last year. As he got a job now, I am wondering can he apply for the 30% ruling as well?

Your partner can apply for the 30% ruling only if he satisfies the conditions for the 30% ruling himself. This means for example that he must be an incoming employee. To be an incoming employee he must have arranged an employment contract in the Netherlands while he was still living outside the Netherlands. Like you he must have come to the Netherlands for the job. If he came to the Netherlands to join you and later found a job he will not be treated as an incoming employee and thus won‘t get the 30% ruling.

Partners of knowledge migrants or other incoming employees who have the 30% ruling therefore do not automatically get the 30% ruling too and as a consequence can't benefit of a lower tax withholding too.
